Tottenham have reportedly joined the race to sign RB Leipzig star Xavi Simons.
Having missed out on the signing of Eberechi Eze last summer, Spurs are scouring the market for a new No. 10 and have identified the Dutchman as a target.
Bild report that Tottenham have enquired about his availability, and they are firmly in the running to hijack Chelsea’s pursuit of the playmaker.
The Blues’ have been pushing to sign Simons over the past few weeks, but talks have ‘stalled’ and therefore given other suitors, such as Spurs, the chance to make their move. Simons is keen to play Premier League football this season and thus it remains to be seen whether he could be lured to Hotspur Way.
